As part of our global Relationship Management Team (Toronto - London - Warsaw - Singapore - Sydney), you'll play a key role within our APAC region, joining our dedicated 4-person team based in Sydney. In this role, you'll report directly to the Managing Director. We aren't just looking for a Relationship Manager - we're looking for a brand ambassador who is self-driven and obsessed with delivering the best client outcomes and experiences to our most valued Clients and Partners. We'd love to meet you in the office from time to time with respect to your own commitments. In this role, you will: Build, manage and deepen new and existing relationships with a dedicated portfolio of OANDA’s Retail and Professional High-Value Clients (HVCs) and Potential HVCs. Retain and reactivate Clients through proactive management, utilising OANDA's products and services and CRM systems automation. Organize and lead elite face-to-face meetings and HVC events designed to nurture long-term loyalty. Prepare educational events & materials (incl. webinars, market updates, seminars, educational videos, brochures). Work closely with the Sales & Onboarding Teams to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for new Clients. Identify initiatives to assist in achieving business goals, meet or exceed all assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as add value to the team success. Seek the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. What skillset do you need to be successful in this role? Min. 4-5 years in Relationship Management or Sales area. Understanding that HVCs don't just trade 9-to-5; openness to engage in evening events and workshops to stay connected with your network. Ability to embrace AI and new technologies to automate and streamline daily tasks. A proactive approach to seeking efficiencies and continuous improvement in all workflows. Business owner mindset and insatiable desire to upgrade your skills and stay at the forefront of the financial markets. Willingness to lead a webinar and the grit to diffuse difficult situations professionally. Positive attitude, flexible nature, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Nice to have: Previous experience in Financial Services or Tech. Professional knowledge of MS Office, and if you’ve mastered Salesforce, you’re already ahead of the curve! Responsibilities
The role involves building and deepening relationships with High-Value Clients (HVCs) in the APAC region, focusing on retention through proactive management and organizing elite face-to-face events. Responsibilities also include preparing educational materials and collaborating with Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth client processes.
