Position Summary
This position is within Acadia. Acadia is wholly owned by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and is part of its Markets division. The Relationship Manager is responsible for working with Acadia’s largest accounts and senior contacts within these accounts to drive growth within Acadia’s services. This position is responsible for managing the strategic accounts across multiple services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identifies business opportunities within each account by researching and analysing sales options that match business needs.
  • The successful candidate is expected to maintain and develop relationship connectivity to very senior decision-making levels across all accounts, ensuring effective account coverage and facilitating regular engagement in these relationships.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with each account and senior leadership from LSEG
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships within each account; recommending solutions.
  • Handle multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Create price proposals and lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure
  • Maintain strong, healthy and consistent pipeline, sales forecasting and planning
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking innovative practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Background in Collateral Operation and/or Banking risk
  • Experience working with strategic clients and developing relationships
  • Strong sales skills including negotiation, sales planning, and prospecting skills
  • A self-directed sales professional who knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus and discipline.
  • Excellent people skills, teammate with a willingness to listen and use their own experience to understand the challenges of our clients.
  • Partner with key internal collaborators (e.g. heads of product, and wider sales colleagues) to ensure effective delivery of strategic and commercial objectives across the products.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to engage a senior audience
