About the Opportunity We are seeking applicants for the role of Relationship Manager to support the University’s domestic student recruitment strategy through building strong relationships with prospective students, schools, partners and communities. Through targeted engagement activities, this role contributes directly to maintaining a sustainable pipeline of student enrolments and supports the University’s mission to grow participation from Tasmania and interstate. As part of the Recruitment and Engagement team, you will work across the early stages of the student lifecycle, helping future students connect with the opportunities the University provides. The role delivers a range of outreach and engagement activities aligned with institutional priorities, ensuring the University remains visible, accessible and relevant to diverse audiences. This position involves regular travel throughout Tasmania and interstate, participation in after-hours events, and time spent across University campuses and locations. What’s Required * Demonstrated success in student recruitment or business development, preferably within the Australian education sector. * Strong organisation and time-management skills, together with a demonstrated ability to work with competing demands, prioritise work tasks, and be flexible in responding to changing work priorities. * High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently influence outcomes at all levels of organisations, and liaise with people of various skills, experience and background to achieve win-win outcomes. * Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and bringing individuals and teams together to achieve mutually beneficial goals. * The ability to prepare and present information, in varying formats, to people from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, including reporting for senior managers. * Capacity to undertake extensive domestic travel. Qualifications and Licences * A tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, management or education and experience in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. * Current Australian Driver License * Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment) or interstate equivalent * Familiarity with Technology One Financials system.   Salary details * Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116,872 comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891 plus 17% superannuation.   How to Apply?
