Job Type: Full-timeRole ContextThe Relationship Manager - Wealth Management will acquire, grow, and deepen RAK elite and wealth management banking relationships through strong client engagement, advisory support, market awareness, and sales leadership. The role includes generating new business, managing an incremental portfolio of relationships, liabilities, assets under management, cards, funded and non-funded facilities, investment product referrals, and cross-sell opportunities. The successful candidate will support customer satisfaction, revenue growth, portfolio profitability, ethical selling, and team performance while maintaining strong compliance with bank policies, investment services standards, and code of conduct.Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new wealth management and RAK elite banking relationships to support portfolio growth.
  • Grow and deepen existing high-net-worth and wealth management customer relationships.
  • Drive business generation across assets, liabilities, investments, cards, and other banking products.
  • Achieve defined individual sales targets, team targets, revenue goals, and budgeted portfolio volumes.
  • Conduct joint client calls with team members to increase business opportunities and acquire new relationships.
  • Lead daily team huddles and monthly performance reviews according to prescribed guidelines.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members to improve performance and reduce attrition.
  • Set objectives, identify development needs, and support performance management for team members.
  • Assess the quality, potential, profitability, and suitability of new and existing client relationships.
  • Increase share of wallet and revenues across the assigned wealth management customer portfolio.
  • Ensure RAK elite and wealth management service standards are consistently met and maintained.
  • Avoid undesirable business by ensuring customer onboarding and product recommendations meet bank standards.
  • Ensure team members complete investment services certification within required timelines.
  • Provide complete information on investment services products available on the bank's platform.
  • Help customers make informed decisions by explaining product features, risks, suitability, and market context.
  • Keep clients updated on current market trends, local market developments, global economic policies, and relevant investment themes.
  • Prepare, recommend, and review credit applications for cards, funded facilities, and non-funded facilities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, timely drawdown, and effective follow-up for approved credit facilities.
  • Manage and grow an incremental portfolio of relationships, liabilities, assets under management, and assets.
  • Advise clients on other relevant bank products and refer potential leads for maximum conversion.
  • Cross-sell banking products to improve customer engagement and reduce attrition.
  • Maintain full awareness of the bank's product and service range.
  • Keep updated on global and local market developments relevant to wealth management clients.
  • Deliver professional customer service to achieve high levels of client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Ensure strict adherence to bank policies, ethics, governance expectations, investment services standards, and code of conduct.

Ideal Profile

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in branch banking, banking operations, relationship management, or customer service.
  • Experience in a similar high-net-worth individual or wealth management relationship management role is preferred.
  • Experience advising customers on investment product offerings.
  • Strong customer-centric sales approach with the ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable banking solutions.
  • Good knowledge of wealth management products, investment services, assets, liabilities, cards, and credit facilities.
  • Proven ability to generate new business, grow portfolios, and meet sales targets.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with affluent and wealth management clients.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Strong understanding of banking policies, customer suitability, ethical selling, and governance standards.
