JOB SUMMARY:
The Relationship Manager – Wealth Management will be responsible for developing, managing, and cultivating a portfolio of positive client and prospective relationships through active networking and building centers of influence. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, providing tailored financial solutions, and driving business growth by cultivating strong client and community connections. The Relationship Manager must be able to balance the technical aspects of wealth management with a highly personalized, client-centric approach, all while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
·Develop, retain, and expand a book of client relationships by deeply understanding each client’s financial goals, needs, and challenges.
· Proactively seek opportunities to grow the firm’s market share by identifying and pursuing new prospects.
· Provide personalized advice and solutions, while partnering with the portfolio management and financial planning team, to help clients meet their financial objectives including investment management, tax planning, estate planning, and other retirement strategies.
· Maintain regular communication with clients regarding account performance, administrative matters, and evolving financial needs to ensure exceptional service.
· Collaborate with Market Director’s to create and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
· Deliver superior client service by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and providing timely financial updates and responses.
· Conduct client reviews and manage client inquiries, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
· Leverage financial knowledge and a client-focused problem-solving approach to provide value and exceed client expectations.
· Build and maintain strong connections within the community to develop a pipeline of high-quality prospects and other referral sources.
· Actively participate in community events, business groups, and charitable activities to enhance both personal and firm visibility.
· Take leadership role(s) in community activities where warranted, further solidifying Tri-Star’s presence in the market.
· Independently prepare client profiles, collect relevant financial data, and present tailored solutions to clients and prospects.
· Understand and effectively communicate Tri-Star’s wealth management services and strategies to prospects and clients.
· Leverage and understand Microsoft Office Suite of products to maintain accurate and organized client information.
· Utilize, learn, and stay updated on Tri-Star’s trust accounting platform and other client management systems to manage client relationships, track transactions, monitor accounts, and other servicing tasks and needs.
· Pursue relevant certifications such as CFP, CFA, or CTFA to enhance credibility and expertise in wealth management.
· Continuously stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices through ongoing education and learning.
· Deliver exceptional client service to meet financial goals, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while attracting new business.
· Proactively source and close new prospects aligned with the firm’s values, growing the client base and expanding Tri-Star’s market share.
· Establish a strong reputation within the community as a trusted financial advisor. Build goodwill and enhance Tri-Star’s reputation through active participation in community events and professional networks.
· Commit to ongoing learning and improvement, offering innovative ideas and personalized service that exceed client expectations.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field required.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of investment management, trust service, or financial planning required.
· CFP, JD, CPA, CFA, CTFA, or CEPA designation(s) preferred.
· Trust Administration, Investment, or Legal experience preferred.
Understanding of the financial markets preferred
