About the job


  • ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic account management with clients and act as an internal advocate within the business to facilitate tactical activity.
  • Annual account planning with clients working closely with the Client Service and Operations Teams.
  • Proactively build “partnership” style relationships with senior client contacts across an organization.
  • Conduct ongoing needs analysis to determine appropriate services.
  • Monitor service levels and client requirements.
  • Upselling of appropriate services/solutions, client contract renewals, annual fee increases and monitoring client overage, making changes to tiers where required.
  • Monitor and resolve aged invoice issues.
  • Keep appraised of new product functionality and service offerings that may be relevant to their evolving plan administration.
  • Identify specification/gap analysis documents for client requests for new functionality, collate and priorities with the development team.
  • Mentor colleagues with respect to client interaction, communication tactics and positioning strategies.
  • Run client governance meetings and complete annual account reviews with the Head of Client Relations to uncover service and revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in and support client training events as required.
  • Remain current with new industry developments to interpret impact on client plans.


  • RequirementsExperience in Account Management, Client Services, or Sales role, preferably working in financial services or Employee Share Plan (ESP) industry.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Economics or Finance is preferred.
  • Previous experience with enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions is an asset.
  • An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and proven attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.
