Relay Launchpad Intern: Sales and RevOps Relay, a dynamic and rapidly growing tech startup based in Raleigh, is on a mission to revolutionize frontline work. We've pioneered an entirely new product category: simple, rugged, smart-radio, along with a comprehensive cloud ecosystem, designed for B2B clients and frontline workers across diverse industries. Having achieved proven product-market fit by solving real-world customer pain and unlocking new capabilities, we're now expanding our Sales team. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious final year undergraduate student to join our Sales team for a paid Sales Internship. This is for the Fall semester but may continue into the Spring semester. High performing Relayers hired as Launchpad Interns will receive consideration for potential full-time roles after graduation, depending on the needs of the business. As a Sales and Revenue Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Sales department, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions including account research, market research, lead generation, data analysis, and data entry. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in prospecting, sales, CRM management, data enhancement tools, startup culture, and industry knowledge, and potential conversion to a full-time position with Relay based on business needs. Responsibilities: Account Research: Conduct in-depth research on potential clients and existing accounts to gather relevant information and insights for the sales team. Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth. Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through various channels including online research, networking, and cold outreach. Data Analysis: Analyze sales and marketing data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to optimize strategies. Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data in CRM systems and other databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility for the team. Experience Gain: Prospecting: Learn effective strategies for identifying and approaching potential leads to drive sales opportunities. Sales: Gain exposure to the sales process and learn how to effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions. CRM Management: Familiarize yourself with customer relationship management (CRM) software and best practices for organizing and managing customer data. Data Enhancement Tools: Utilize data enhancement tools and techniques to enrich customer profiles and improve targeting and segmentation. Startup Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic startup environment and learn firsthand about agile workflows, innovation, and teamwork. Industry Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape, key players, and emerging trends that impact sales and marketing strategies. Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale This internship offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact the company's success.
