One of our banking clients is looking for a Release Manager- (Change management, ITSM certified, banking)
Length: 14 months contract with a possibility of extension
Location: Onsite - Scarborough, ON
Hours of Operations: Regular working hours Monday - Friday, some weekends and after 9PM shifts
Line of business: Engineering
Role Mandate: A Release Manager role needed to drive the implementation in storage refresh and other IT operations. Individual will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of storage migrations in lower production environments. They will ensure that releases are delivered on time, of high quality, and minimal disruption to existing systems. This involves overseeing the entire release lifecycle, from planning and development to testing and deployment.

* TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Storage knowledge an asset

* COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• General knowledge in Enterprise Infrastructure – compute, network and storage (minimum 5 years)
• Deep knowledge in Change Management process
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM platform
• ITSM certified preferred

SKILLS:

• Good communication skills (written and oral)
• Ready to learn and adapt
• Able to coordinate and run meetings and push for a desired outcome
• Able to problem solve on their feet
• A go getter attitude
• Abe to tell management potential issues and bad news

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Resource will be Furloughed
Canadian Stat Holidays (business day before and business day after)
2 weeks at the Year End (last week of December\first week of January)
