RELEASE MANAGER:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Release Manager for a 14 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

RELEASE MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Release Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of storage migrations from lower to production environments. This role involves managing the entire release lifecycle, ensuring that releases are delivered on time, with high quality, and minimal disruption to existing systems.

RELEASE MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• General knowledge in Enterprise Infrastructure – compute, network, and storage.
• Deep knowledge in Change Management process.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM platform.
• ITSM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Infrastructure.

RELEASE MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, and Scrum.
• ITIL certification preferred.

• Define release cadences and create release schedules.
• Coordinate activities across different teams to ensure smooth release processes.
• Manage the release process, track progress, and identify risks.
• Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Communicate release plans and progress to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between teams.
