Position Summary: The Maintenance Reliability Technologist is a key contributor to maintaining equipment reliability, managing inventory systems, and driving preventative maintenance initiatives. This role is critical to reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless and safe plant operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced skill level of Windows and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations is required.
- Requires high energy and focused planning and organizing skills.
- Must have strong team building skills and the ability to facilitate team-based initiatives.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, business process improvement knowledge, and ability to train others with diverse backgrounds and education levels.Self-motivated, people oriented, service oriented, and ability to work with all levels in the organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeymen Parts Technician
- Technologist Diploma/degree (with 2+ years of experience) – Education and experience in the Mechanical Engineering is preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment with focus in metal fabrication, preferably in a maintenance setting
Physical work Environment/Conditions: The physical work environment requires the employee to work at times inside or outside in heat/cold, wet/humid and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous conditions. This position is Non-Exempt.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, updating, and tracking of purchase orders for maintenance resources.
- Oversee the spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate logging, organization, and compliance with the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Accountability for Lock, Tag, Verify safety program for the facility. Ensure the LTV program is maintained at a good level and in compliance with Arconic Engineering Standard
- Ensure inventory accuracy, including stock levels, cost data, vendor details.
- Develop and maintain Standard Task Instructions (STIs) for all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Planner to optimize inventory levels for operational needs.
- Audit and continuously improve the preventative maintenance system to meet operational and safety requirements.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
