Adecco is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer to support a 12-month contract in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in reliability engineering, AI/ML applications, and preventative maintenance strategies. You’ll play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing downtime across complex systems.

  • Pay rate: $67.60/hour.
  • Location: Toronto, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Job type: 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Support new projects (e.g., FFIP PPD) from a Reliability standpoint
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs
  • Deploy Reliability 4.0 methodologies and apply AI/ML modelling
  • Target production issues using Failure Elimination principles
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPAs
  • Use tools like RCM, FMEA, SPC, and CMMS data to drive reliability
  • Assist with master data activities: hierarchy, spares, documentation
  • Collaborate with Engineering on installations for reliability and maintainability
  • Lead risk mitigation strategies and predictive maintenance initiatives
  • Manage obsolescence, contribute to asset planning, and maintain risk registries
  • Promote maintenance safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Train teams on accurate equipment history and data reliability
  • Review shutdown PM task lists and recommend improvements

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 5-15 years of experience in Reliability Engineering or related fields
  • Proficient with AI/ML tools and modelling concepts
  • Skilled in RCM, RCA, FMEA, SPC, and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Experienced with CMMS and asset lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and compliance knowledge
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
