Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer for a contract role in North York, ON, offering $67.60 per hour. In this position, you’ll play a key role in enhancing equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting major projects using advanced reliability methods, AI/ML modelling, and predictive maintenance strategies. Responsibilities:

  • Support new projects (e.g., FFIP, PPD) with reliability input, including BOMs and preventive maintenance program development
  • Apply Reliability and Industry 4.0 methods to minimize equipment and facility risks
  • Use AI/ML tools to model complex datasets (hands-on and theoretical knowledge)
  • Identify and resolve equipment downtime issues using failure elimination and reliability principles
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and implement CAPAs
  • Use RCM tools such as FMEA, RCA, and reliability modelling to improve equipment performance
  • Maintain and manage master data related to equipment, spares, and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering on design and installation for long-term reliability and maintainability
  • Develop and manage predictive maintenance programs and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage equipment obsolescence using risk analysis and part replacement strategies
  • Support building shutdown planning with task lists and spare parts review
  • Promote a strong maintenance safety culture
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate documentation for analysis and trending
  • Balance multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum education requirement)
  • 3-8 years of experience in a related reliability or maintenance role
  • Experience with RCM tools such as FMEA, RCA, reliability modelling
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and risk assessments
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Skilled in master data management for equipment and spare parts
  • Experience managing equipment obsolescence across the asset lifecycle (preferred)
  • Hands-on and theoretical understanding of AI/ML modelling (preferred)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects (engineering, production)
  • Familiar with regulatory compliance and documentation processes
  • Involvement in shutdown planning and safety initiatives
