SUMMARY

Can work with limited supervision on assigned tasks with standard techniques to build on basic knowledge and develop skills in specific practice areas. Interacts with clients and client organisations and has an understanding of how maintenance management is executed. Understands project management practices and is responsible for project delivery. Is proactive in anticipating other’s needs, is self-aware and empathically communicates both internally and externally and has a focused personal development plan.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Strong computer literacy, proficient in use of Microsoft office products particularly excel and access
Competent in data analysis applications and a working knowledge of maintenance control databases
Trained in project management approaches and software, and able to demonstrate competency in all stages of project execution

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline
Trained in using Isograph Software range
Trained in using OnePM
Understanding of ASM

EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in maintenance / reliability within the mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing industries
Experienced in the application of reliability methods and techniques gained within relevant industry
Experienced in data analysis including extraction from various data sources the ability to summarize data into conclusions
Experienced in working as part of a project team and have a working knowledge of the project elements including timelines, deliverables and budgets

DATA HANDLING AND IT SKILLS

Develop value added data handling solutions and continuously improve understanding and application of Reliability methods and OnePM to enhance the formulation of client solutions and find better ways of delivery our services and utilizing our software
Managing Time, Budgets and Deliverables
Maintain project logs, ensuring accurate reporting of time and expenses for the entire project to support the company’s invoicing and payroll processes
Ensure all company required administrative tasks are completed before they are due.
Report project status at weekly intervals (internally & externally)

A Reliability Engineer Level 2 performs engineering services for customers to meet profit, quality and customer satisfaction targets.
