WESCEF: We create long-term value for critical industries and everyday life.   About the role  We are seeking a talented Reliability Engineer – Electrical to join our team at our Kwinana operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance of electrical assets across WesCEF Kwinana operations. You will provide specialist electrical reliability engineering expertise to support safe, compliant, and cost‑effective plant performance. Key responsibilities will include: Develop and enhance maintenance strategies for electrical assets (HV/LV distribution, motors, drives and protection systems). Monitor asset performance, analyse reliability data and implement improvement initiatives. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and drive defect elimination plans. Optimise preventative, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies. Support condition monitoring programs (e.g. thermography, partial discharge, motor testing). Provide reliability input into capital projects and asset lifecycle planning. Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and statutory requirements. Partner with key stakeholders to communicate risks, performance and improvement outcomes. About You  Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering, reliability engineering or asset management. Experience working within chemical, manufacturing, energy and/or mineral processing industry environments. Hold an Australian Recognised Chartered Engineer Certification and/or equivalent accreditation in addition to an Asset Reliability Practitioner Engineer certification is desirable. Demonstrated experience applying reliability engineering tools and knowledge to electrical assets. Possess a strong understanding of electrical safety, statutory compliance, and asset risk management. Good communication, customer service and collaboration skills. Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Flexible and adaptable approach to meet challenging business needs as required.
