Description JOB SUMMARY Focuses on the health of our production system by being proactive in developing tools to monitor the system at all levels, anticipate issues, and implement solutions before the users are impacted ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Serves as subject matter expert to continuously improve maintenance processes & drive alignment across the site Provides training to & facilitate workshops with key business leaders Establishes, maintains, & optimizes PM, QM, & MM structure Drives continuous process improvements using LEAN or Six Sigma tools Provides input to Risk Management Plan in anticipation of risks that could adversely impact plant operation OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Special projects and additional duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY N/A EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in engineering EXPERIENCE One year of experience in an engineering field with a focus on reliability & maintenance optimization preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS Data-driven approach to problem solving and communications Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills Ability to prioritize time and tasks in a fast paced, ever changing environment Proficient with MS Office Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to pass physical examination for use of respirators and Pyro suit Eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Willing to work in an environment that requires a “Safety First” attitude. Must obey all Safety, Health & Environmental rules/regulations prescribed by regulatory agencies that are incorporated into company policy Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle energetic and non-energetic material The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
