JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are searching for top talent for Reliability Engineer Lead located in Raritan, NJ.
As a part of the Application Reliability team, you will be at the forefront of technologies interacting with the full breadth of Commercial Platforms and Technologies: Full-stack digital platforms and languages (e.g Acquia, Platform.SH, Drupal, PHP, Javascript, HTML, APIs, .NET, SharePoint and Mobile solutions), SaaS platforms: Sales Force, Integration layer: Mulesoft, Cloud computing and architecture (e.g AWS, GCP and Azure), DevOps tools and processes (e.g Jenkins, Terraform, JIRA, xRay, JFrog and Artifactory) and Observability/Monitoring tools and practices (New Relic, Grafana, Pingdom, Splunk). You will be working with passionate, driven, excited individuals who believe that providing world class products is critical to providing the best health care products in the world.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
  • The right leader will have at least 5 years of experience in a Computer Science or relevant field, be highly analytical and be calm in the face of fast-moving environments.
  • Reliability experience with digital frameworks (e.g. Drupal, .NET, SharePoint, React, Angular, Vue, etc) OR SaaS platforms like Sales Force (Sales cloud, Health Cloud)
  • Experience with APM tools is required (e.g. SLIs/SLOs, Pingdom, New Relic, Grafana, AppDynamics, etc)
  • Experience managing cloud platforms and infrastructure would be a plus (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD concepts and tools would be desirable (e.g. JIRA, Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes, etc)
  • Recommend and encourage appropriate design and architectural decisions
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Scrum, Agile software development concepts
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Responsibilities
  • Have an SRE mindset and a set of engineering approaches to running better production systems
  • Work directly with customers/developers/architects/product owners to help automate customer issues and drive solutions to build stronger more reliable Commercial Application solutions
  • Engage in and improve our Commercial End to End IT Products— design, deployment, operation and continuous improvement.
  • As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work to keep systems up and running by measuring and monitoring availability, performance and overall system health.
