YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in a similar role with knowledge on CMMS (MEX)

You will have held similar positions and have excellent fault finding and trouble shooting skills. With solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication, to be considered for the role, it’s important you can address the following criteria:

  • A relevant trade or qualification - mechanical or metal fabrication (preferred) (MIG, TIG, STICK)
  • Experienced in risk identification, analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to inspire a team by setting goals and handling multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Measured, enthusiastic, goal orientated and capable of individual effort
  • Excellent leadership abilities and team focused
  • Strong understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and practice
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical ability

Responsibilities:

With a ‘safety first’ mindset towards all aspects of operational performance, leadership and decision making, you’ll be welcomed into an experienced team where your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • ensuring all manufacturing and support equipment is properly maintained and functioning to specification
  • Managing preventative maintenance plans
  • Overseeing the maintenance team
  • Provide training, support and guidance so employees can perform role safely and efficiently
  • Promote and implement best practice to improve project outcomes
  • Maintain a consultative relationship with management
  • Planning and budgeting for preventative maintenance and asset improvement
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all assets
  • Adopt a ‘safety first’ mindset for all aspects of operational performance, leadership and decision making
  • Develop engineering and maintenance strategy plans
  • Manage labour and contractor cost
