Four-year degree from an accredited university. Study of a computer science or engineering discipline is advantageous, but not required. Minimum of 4 years employment in a professional software development role. In-depth knowledge of the Java programming language is essential. This includes syntax and data structures, object-oriented design and patterns, concurrent programming concepts, and operational considerations such as memory management and network access. practical knowledge of the Spring Framework and Gradle build system proficiency with SQL and production use of an RDBMS such as Sybase or DB2 competence using Linux, with an understanding of fundamental system concepts hands-on usage of Git, including branching, merging and conflict resolution We do it in a way that's differentiated - and we've done that for 90 years.
