Lightmatter is (re)inventing the future of computing with light! Lightmatter is looking to hire a Reliability Test Intern for the summer of 2026. In this role you can expect to work with the reliability and test team on various projects related to testing reliability and characterization. Responsibilities: Performing reliability/characterization tests Setting up the tests and writing the test automation script Perform test data analysis and presenting it to key stakeholders Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Basic knowledge of test automation tools, python is preferred Familiarity with hardware testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and thermal sensors Understanding of basic electronics, circuits, and embedded systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a hands-on lab environment Willingness and curiosity to learn from an exciting team! We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.
