This is a rewarding and challenging Senior Building Manager role, working closely with the Building Management Committee and Owners Corporations to ensure a high-profile residential site is managed and maintained to an excellent standard. Job Description We are currently seeking an energetic Relief Building Manager to join our company for a long-term, stable opportunity, supporting our team across multiple sites located in the Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs To be successful in this role you will be an outstanding communicator and administrator who enjoys the balance of office administration with the activity of site and contractor supervision, project management and issue resolution. Major responsibilities will include: Successful management of contractors, consultants, and coordination Extensive liaison with Owners, Residents, Strata Managers and Committee Members Proactive implementation of preventative maintenance programs Undertaking reactive repairs including logging, acting, and responding Scheduling and arranging statutory certification and inspections of common property. Compiling detailed progress reports and maintaining comprehensive records & database Act on behalf of the Client in relation to WHS and environmental requirements such as contractor induction, reviewing contractors Safe Work Method Statements and other duties that may be required to ensure the site is a safe place to work and live. Qualifications We encourage applicants with technical background who have either worked in the strata industry, facilities management, property, or contractor management or may have enjoyed success in a trade or construction environment and are looking to make your mark in a new industry. Previous experience in the strata industry is a plus. A genuine passion for Building & Facilities Management industry Ability to build solid rapport with Residents and Strata Committees Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Conflict resolution skills Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word A strong administrative background An appreciation of customer service Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to influence and motivate others.
