RELIEF/CASUAL WORKERS

This is an entry level position open to applicants with an interest in developmental services and support work. Experience in paid support work is not required, but would be considered an asset.
Position summary: A Relief/Casual worker provides support to people with a developmental disability.
Relief/Casual workers are scheduled where needs exist within various areas of the agency. This position typically covers staff’s vacation, holidays, statutory days and sick time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Submission of a clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector screening for review
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (emergency level or higher)
• A valid full G class driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and $1,000,000 liability coverage
• Successful completion of a college level pharmacology course. If not already completed, the successful candidate is to be registered in this course within the first 6 months of employment
