We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Greater Vancouver Relief Dispatcher. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our drivers are on time, on schedule, and safely delivering goods to our customers.
The dispatcher works in close communication with all Drivers, Customers, Operations. This position reports directly to the Fleet, Facilities, Claims, and Logistics Manager. This is a Monday to Friday, Full-Time position, start time TBD ( start time between 830-1130am)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Customer-focused with superior interpersonal and organizational skills required;
• Proficient on a computer, experience with Insight software is an asset;
• Confident decision maker, strategic thinker, with some understanding of logistics;
• Must work well as part of a team and under pressure;
• Dispatch experience and knowledge of Greater Vancouver mainland

• Greater Vancouver dispatch in it’s entirety
• Liaise with drivers and Operations daily to implement planning strategies;
• Assist with drivers scheduling;
• Effective equipment utilization
• Liaise with Warehouse management and daily warehouse operations;
• Customer Service Communications;
• Implementation of company policies
