Responsibilities

As a Relief Heavy Plant Operator, you will:

Operate and maintain heavy plant including excavators, graders, backhoes, trucks, and skid steer loaders
Assist in the safe and efficient construction and maintenance of Council’s civil infrastructure
Perform daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance
Support road construction, grading, drainage works, and restoration tasks
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Council procedures
