Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and guest service-oriented Relief Night Supervisor to join our team.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide the highest quality of service to guest, anticipating and exceeding their expectations and make the most positive impact on guest experiences throughout all aspects of their stay.
- Rotate between shifts in Front Desk, Service Centre and Relief Night Supervisor, handling guest arrivals & departures, guest requests and telephone inquiries, processing In-Room Dining orders and performing administrative night time duties such as the Night Audit.
- Understand and consistently follow all cash handling and accounting procedures.
- Ensure compliance to all hotel policies, standards and core practices
- Maintain positive internal and external relationships, familiarity with local venues, attractions, restaurants, events and Hyatt hospitality standards.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, special notes and VIP details to personalize each visit and future stays.
- When acting as a Relief Night Supervisor, work in conjunction with Colleagues and maintain hands-on involvement in all aspects of the night time operations and assist where the need is greatest and as required.
- When acting as a Relief Night Supervisor, ensure that all requested reports are completed and submitted punctually and accurately.
- Serve as a true Service Ambassador and exceed service expectations proactively, promptly, professionally and with genuine care.
- Assist in handling of guest complaints and ensure proper follow-up.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information.
- Undertake other ad hoc related responsibilities, as required.
