DESCRIPTION

This position is located in Markham and working in a Specialty Pharmacy. We are looking for someone to start as soon as next week!
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Pay: $60-$65 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm OR 8:30am to 4:30pm, OR 9:00am to 5:00pm
Type: Temp until September, possibility of extension
Start date: ASAP

Requirements:

• Min 1 year experience working in a Pharmacy
• Must be registered with the OCP
• Experience with 3rd party billing
• Experience using Kroll is preferred

Duties:

• Patient counselling over the phone
• Working with doctors to resolved drug related issues
• Preparing prescription orders to be delivered to patient homes or clinics
• Checking prescriptions, looking at clinical and technical aspects
• Liaising with insurance plans
• Working with Pharmacy Clerks, Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians
