Working across the Kings X Estate a large, vibrant hub with a cluster of offices, public spaces, entertainment and shops you will be responsible for the safety and security of the area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and working with the local community and tourists that visit the area.
We are looking for a professional and proactive Relief Security Officer to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of the estate. As a highly visible presence, you will combine strong security awareness with excellent customer service skills. Your responsibilities will include external patrols, incident response, access control, and providing support to visitors. Working in all weather conditions, both independently and as part of a wider team, you will consistently uphold the highest standards of professionalism while delivering a positive experience for everyone on site.

Responsibilities

As a Relief Security Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Provide a visible, professional presence and deliver excellent customer service during all interactions.
  • Offer guidance and directions to visitors, ensuring smooth access to buildings and estate facilities.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel and estate staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Report hazards, incidents, suspicious activity, or notable interactions to the Control Room for appropriate logging and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate entry logs or digital records for all arrivals and departures.
  • Liaise with loading dock coordinators, facilities staff, and tenant representatives to manage site activity.
  • Respond to loading bay alarms, hazards, or unauthorised access events.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, lift alarms, and life safety systems within the Fire Control Centre.
  • Respond promptly to alarm activations and escalate appropriately according to site protocols.
