Responsibilities include: Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets. Following Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements. Delivering high levels of customer service aligned with Securitas’ core values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness. Must have a full SIA licence before starting work. Responsibilities Protection of Property and Premises Prevent unauthorized access. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV. Conduct patrols and internal security checks. Control access and apply parking restrictions. Manage keys and security equipment. Complete reports and maintain records. Ensure customer property is protected per Assignment Instructions. Report any incidents and hazards. Health and Safety Provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed. Report faults and hazards. Maintain compliance with Assignment Instructions. Report shortages in First Aid boxes. Additional Responsibilities Notify and Investigate Notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in emergencies and follow instructions. Investigate the cause of fire alarm activations. Prevent Loss and Waste Report property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged, or vandalized. During patrols, switch off unnecessary lights and close windows. Prevent and Deter Crime Operate radios, pagers, clocking equipment, and other security equipment. Operate customer’s stop and search policies when required. Carry out initial investigations and report incidents verbally and in writing. Customer Service Display outstanding customer service. Take responsibility for resolving staff and visitor issues. Maintain high standards of personal presentation and uniform. Answer telephone calls professionally and per Assignment Instructions. Other Responsibilities Book on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls per Company policy. Ensure paperwork is completed timely and accurately. Must have the right to work in the UK. Must be over 18 years old.
