Imagine finishing your shift knowing you’ve made someone’s day brighter. That is what this role offers right here in Kirkmuirhill, Lanark.
No two days are the same. You might be helping someone get ready in the morning, cooking together, joining a local group in Lanark, or simply being there to listen. Each moment is about supporting adults with learning disabilities to feel confident, independent and part of their community.
You will support with personal care and wellbeing, encourage communication, help build routines, and celebrate the small wins that make a big difference. You will also work closely with your team to make sure each person gets the care and support they deserve.
To thrive here, you will already have some experience in a care or support role and feel confident working one-to-one. Most of all, you will be kind, reliable and put people first. An SVQ Level 3 is ideal, and if you are still working towards it, we will support you.
In return, you will have ongoing training, supportive colleagues, and the satisfaction of knowing your work is changing lives close to home.
Ready to make every day count? Apply today.
