Description:

AS A TEACHER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, YOU WILL:

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage students to explore different worldviews, ethical dilemmas, and moral questions
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

Responsibilities:

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field
  • Experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for engaging students in discussions about faith, ethics, and morality
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
