Description

First Phase Strategies (FPS) is an Indianapolis-based consultancy specializing in resident relocation for the apartment industry across the United States. This is a contract based, full-time remote role on our “Strategy Execution” team that reports to multiple project managers within the organization. The compensation for this role is $28/hr, averaging 40hrs/week. The project sites are in the Greater Cleveland area – it is imperative that the candidate can be on site Monday – Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Must speak both English and Spanish fluently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background screen
  • Must be able to walk up to 4 miles per day and ascend up to four flights of stairs at a time
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs, work in adverse weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time
  • Experience in relocation services, social services, customer service, property management, or other similar fields preferred
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including experience with Excel
  • Able to communicate with a variety of personality types by phone, email, and in person
  • Able to work with diverse populations and communicate effectively with numerous stakeholder groups, including staff, clients, and residents
  • Able to write clearly, including letters, memoranda, and emails
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Conduct site setup activities, relocation files organization, staff training, identification of vendors, and off-site relocation units
  • Perform regular audits of relocation files
  • Attend virtual weekly meetings with the FPS and client
  • Participate in and facilitate resident and community meetings to discuss the relocation process and resident relocation rights and benefits
  • Assist site staff with unit assignments and Site Support
  • Analyze and work through challenging issues with residents and communicate information and actions needed in a timely and responsive manner
  • Provide support and guidance to site staff
  • Provide relocation counseling and assistance in compliance with applicable Federal, State, or local regulations
  • Implement relocation policies as outlined in the approved relocation plan
  • Serve as a liaison between FPS, property management, clients, and residents
  • Provide weekly reports the project manager, and monthly reports to the development team
  • Ensure relocation files contain required documentation, and the data-tracking system is updated regularly
  • Complete all tasks identified in the site work plan and perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel to communities to scout potential vendors or provide onsite coordination services
  • Tracking personal travel and project expenses for accounting reconciliation
