Description

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the facility relocation project, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, resources, risk management, and communication strategies.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, IT, HR, EHS) to gather requirements and ensure a smooth transition for all departments.
Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consultants, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
Coordinate with the facility manager to oversee construction and renovation activities at the new site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and SKF standards.
Track project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership and escalating issues as needed.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential delays, cost overruns, or operational disruptions.
Ensure proper decommissioning of the current facility, including asset disposition, lease termination, and site restoration.
Support the setup and commissioning of new equipment and infrastructure, ensuring operational readiness before go-live.
Facilitate change management and communication plans, helping employees adapt to the new environment and processes.
Conduct post-move evaluations, capturing lessons learned and ensuring all punch-list items are resolved.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and compliance records
