Metrics LLC is seeking a Relocation Readiness Assistant as we compete for a contract to support the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Rheinland-Pfalz by providing Relocation Readiness Assistant services at Army Community Service (ACS) Kleber Barracks. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive relocation assistance to incoming and outgoing service members and their families. The selected contractor will support military personnel by providing vital information, managing the ACS Lending Closet, and coordinating relocation-related activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a DoD ID card holder.
  • Ability to obtain all required background checks within 30 days of contract award

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree or equivalent education and at least one (1) year of experience in information & referral or customer service, OR
  • Three (3) years of customer service experience (may substitute for education, but a high school diploma is required).
  • Strong customer service, time management, and records management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and SharePoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively assist clients and collaborate with ACS staff.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with military families or in a government support environment.
  • Knowledge of Army relocation programs, EFMP, and military transition services

Responsibilities

The Relocation Readiness Assistant will:

  • Provide a full range of ongoing and specialized relocation services to military personnel and their families.
  • Assist incoming and outgoing members of USAG Rheinland-Pfalz by offering essential relocation information and guidance.
  • Manage the ACS Kleber Barracks Lending Closet, ensuring proper inventory, organization, and distribution of loaned items.
  • Support and participate in the Relocation Assistance Coordination Committee (RACC) to enhance relocation programs and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, referrals, and services provided.
  • Present information clearly in both oral and written formats to service members, families, and ACS staff.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and SharePoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all background check requirements within 30 days of contract award.
  • Adapt support hours based on Government facility operating hours and adjust as necessary in case of local or national emergencies (e.g., Emergency Family Assistance Center activation).
  • Conduct administrative tasks or training during administrative closures such as Organization Days.
