Description

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or system administration roles.
  • Preferred: Experience with procurement procedures and best practices, particularly within supply chain management systems.
  • Preferred: Experience with purchasing and contract laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Systems or purchasing/supply chain platforms.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam and other industry-standard programs.
  • Above-average proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred: Experience providing customer support or troubleshooting for enterprise software systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This office position requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Candidates must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching are necessary. The role also requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling office equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal departments using the Remarcable Supply Chain System, addressing questions related to system functionality, navigation, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate delivery updates for equipment, products, and materials to the field, project management, and shop teams.
  • Collaborate with buyers, project management, and other departments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve system-related challenges.
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Assist with tracking quotes for bids and reviewing spreadsheet analysis within the Remarcable platform.
  • Contact suppliers for adjustments involving replacement or return of materials or equipment due to non-conformance, defects, order cancellations, or price variations, and update records in the Remarcable system.
  • Support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice and delivery discrepancies associated with purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Manage document control, including Submittals and O&M Manuals, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
  • Scribe meeting minutes and assist with technical setup for staff and other meetings as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested to support supply chain operations and system administration.
  • Maintain proactive and positive relationships with shop and field craft personnel, fostering collaboration through effective use of the Remarcable system.
  • Build positive relationships with customer representatives, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, safety, CAD/BIM, accounting, IT, and all project teams, providing system support as needed.
  • Support the Supply Chain Team by ensuring that timely, sufficient, and accurate information is available to place orders with suppliers.
