Job brief
In this role as a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will join our team of health care practitioners to provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and deliver a range of massage treatments, including deep tissue, remedial and pregnancy massage.
Responsibilities:
· Perform therapeutic massage on soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to support healing and recovery.
· Conduct thorough client assessments and maintain detailed records.
· Apply a variety of massage techniques to enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries, and aid in post-exercise recovery.
· Administer treatments designed to promote relaxation, improve blood circulation, and alleviate muscle tension.
· Assess and treat specific soft tissue dysfunctions and provide tailored rehabilitation and recovery guidance.
· Incorporate complementary therapies such as acupressure, Shiatsu, infrared heat, wet compresses, cryotherapy, essential oils, and herbal or mineral remedies to support healing and well-being.
· Evaluate clients’ physical condition and medical history to recommend appropriate stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe treatment area at all times.
· Collaborate with our team of wellness professionals to support integrated health outcomes.
Requirements
· Diploma of remedial massage or higher qualifications. Alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
· Minimum 12 months full-time’ experience in a remedial massage role (post-qualification).
· Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.
· Be approved for health refund rebates.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of client care and professionalism.
Pay: $77,000 – $79,000 base salary plus superannuation
Location: Sydney and surrounding areas

Pay: $77,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year
