JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for a remedial massage therapist, preferably female, to join a busy chiropractic and massage clinic. Clients generally utilise regular massage and chiropractic in conjunction. Prior experience would be amazing, particularly in sports/ remedial massage and pregnancy massage.
Minimum requirement Cert IV in Massage Therapy. Diploma of Remedial Massage would be preferred for health fund rebates.
Clinic is open 6 days a week including Saturdays. Hours are negotiable, but the expectation is that during your shift you remain present at the clinic. We can discuss days to work, shifts that are available are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday Mornings.
All equipment is provided (oil, tables, towels, pillows). The massage room is beautifully furnished. The expectation is that the room is kept clean and tidy, vacuum the room as well as wash/fold towels (washing machine and dryer on the premises).
You will receive training in front desk systems for taking payments and appointments. Notes and appointments are done on Cliniko (online appointment software). The receptionists currently work on the same shifts as the chiropractor, if you work on these shifts you will not need to do your own reception.
Earnings are commision based as the position is as a contractor. Pay per client (offering 30, 60 and 90 min massages) - $55-66 per hour.

Pay: $55.00 – $66.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Experience:

• Massage: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (Preferred)
• Diploma of Remedial Massage (Preferred)
