QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong residential remodeling experience
• Ability to lead and train a team
• Proficient with power tools, construction methods and equipment required
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Can lift up to 50lbs

PREFERRED:

• Experience with home renovations
• Knowledge of building codes and permits
• Skills in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC a plus
• Leadership experience mentoring junior crew members

ABOUT THE ROLE

This key position will be the lead remodeler for our residential projects. You should have a variety of remodeling experience and the ability to lead junior team members.
Lead remodeling role will begin on current Montello residential remodel project, with guaranteed work pipeline extending 4+ months and goal is year-round-work. This person should be able to perform hands-on work, understand the scope of tasks, and guide a team to complete projects efficiently and with quality craftsmanship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform skilled remodeling work (framing, drywall, flooring, carpentry, etc.)
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Lead and direct a small crew of helpers/laborers
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and up to quality standards
• Communicate with supervisors and team members about progress and needs
