Absolute Clean and Restoration Inc. is a locally owned and operated restoration and construction company specializing in post-loss rebuilds, remodeling, and reconstruction following water, mold, and fire damage. We work in both newer and older homes and take pride in quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professional job site conduct. Job Summary The Rebuild Technician is responsible for performing skilled reconstruction and remodeling work on residential properties. This role requires a well-rounded tradesperson capable of completing finish and light trade work to restore homes to pre-loss condition or better. Responsibilities Perform residential remodeling and reconstruction work on new and older homes Install trim, baseboards, casing, doors, and hardware Perform cabinetry installation and finish work Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall Match and apply wall textures Perform plaster repair and restoration as required Install flooring including LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile Perform light plumbing work (fixtures, faucets, toilets) Perform light electrical work such as installing light fixtures, switches, and outlets Follow rebuild scopes and plans provided by management Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Communicate effectively with project managers and team members Use proper PPE and follow safety guidelines at all times Ensure work meets company quality standards and local codes where applicable Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Work performed in occupied and unoccupied residential homes Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required PPE required as necessary Qualifications Minimum 3 years of remodeling or reconstruction experience required Strong knowledge of residential construction practices Experience working in older homes and matching existing finishes Ability to read scopes of work and basic construction plans Skilled in finish carpentry, drywall, and flooring installation Experience with light plumbing and electrical work (fixture installation) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Professional appearance and customer-service mindset Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level Overtime opportunities Steady work with year-round projects Opportunity for advancement within the rebuild department Company tools and equipment provided (as applicable) 401 K plan with 3% company match Supplementary Insurance available
