Coastal Express Shuttle is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Contract Business Development Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Research: Proactively identify and research new business opportunities, potential clients, and emerging market trends. Analyze competitor activity and industry dynamics to inform business strategy.
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure. This includes preparing compelling proposals and presentations, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring all contractual requirements align with business operations.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute business development strategies that align with company goals.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze business development metrics, such as win rates, revenue forecasts, and pipeline growth, to report on progress and make necessary adjustments to the strategy.
Networking & Outreach: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company’s network and professional profile.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record in a business development or sales role, with a focus on securing and managing contracts.
Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate a value proposition, build rapport, and negotiate favorable contract terms.
Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the relevant industry, market, and competitive landscape.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track opportunities, and generate reports.
Autonomy: A strong ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and drive towards results without constant supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in a B2B sales.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
