This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior CADD Designer - REMOTE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence a wide range of transportation projects, guiding them from concept to completion. Your expertise in advanced design software and transportation engineering will not only enhance project outcomes but also empower a team of talented engineers and designers. Join a dynamic environment where collaboration is key, and you will be an integral part of a respected team dedicated to excellence and innovation in transportation engineering. \n Accountabilities Produce models, drawings, details, and other deliverables for proposals and public infrastructure projects including highways, streets, intersections, and multi-modal facilities. Create corridors and 3D surface models for design, estimating, and digital delivery. Collaborate with other leaders and CED’s Digital Technology Services Group to create project workspaces for Bentley Software. Provide on-the-job mentoring to staff and facilitate training in Bentley MicroStation and InRoads/OpenRoads. Ensure quality control and assurance of design products developed by engineers, designers, and technicians. Assist project managers in developing cost-effective project budgets and workload planning. Supervise CAD production staff as required. Requirements Associate’s degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred. 7+ years of CAD design experience on highway transportation projects required. Experience with projects for state, county, and municipal transportation agencies required. Proficient in one or more platforms: Bentley OpenRoads, Inroads Suite SS10, and/or MicroStation SS10/CONNECT. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
