To support a growing population of patients with metabolic disease and liver conditions, we are seeking a remote Diabetes Educator / Registered Dietitian with experience managing diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and liver steatosis through lifestyle-based care. You will work closely with our clinical team to deliver efficient, high-quality education that supports long-term patient outcomes. Physician consultation is available for any questions beyond your scope or training. Position Overview We are seeking a highly reliable Diabetes Educator / Registered Dietitian to provide remote patient education and lifestyle counseling in a modern, team-based clinical setting. You will play a key role in improving metabolic health, supporting early disease detection, and reinforcing physician-led treatment plans. This role is ideal for a clinician who values prevention, efficiency, and meaningful patient impact. Our Practice Highly respected primary care practice known for in-depth preventive care Advanced in-house diagnostics, including FibroScan liver fibrosis ultrasounds One of the first primary care offices in the Bay Area to provide FibroScan services Early adopter of evidence-based lifestyle interventions for metabolic and liver disease What We Offer Our Patients We provide a comprehensive range of preventive and chronic care services, including early detection and management of: Diabetes and insulin resistance Metabolic syndrome Liver steatosis and fibrosis Cardiovascular risk factors Our care model emphasizes education, early intervention, and long-term outcomes, supported by physician oversight. Key Responsibilities Provide remote diabetes and lifestyle education visits Counsel patients on nutrition, weight management, and metabolic health Support patients with liver steatosis and fibrosis using evidence-based lifestyle strategies Reinforce physician-directed care plans Document patient interactions clearly and efficiently Coordinate with the physician for questions or escalation of care Requirements Requirements / Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) and/or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Experience treating patients with diabetes and metabolic disease Experience or strong interest in liver steatosis and fibrosis management preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a clinical team Strong organizational and documentation skills Compensation & Schedule Remote, flexible scheduling Compensation based on experience Opportunity to work within an innovative, prevention-focused primary care model Pay Scale/Ranges: $30.00-$70.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).* *Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience.
