iLearn Engineering is a UK based online engineering college providing a diverse range of accredited online engineering courses and qualifications across all the major engineering disciplines. We offer online engineering courses and qualifications at levels 4, 5 and 6 aligned to the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) in the UK.
We operate asynchronous learning allowing students to work in their own time and at their own pace, via bite-size learning steps utilising a combination of reading, videos and worked examples.

Due to our expansion we are now seeking part-time experienced Engineering Tutors across the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical
  • Electrical & Electronic
  • Aerospace
  • Civil
  • General

ABOUT THE JOB

No formal class teaching required, however a small amount of remote one to one student support will be expected via email, telephone or video call.

The role will require you to provide the following activities:

  • Marking assignments
  • Providing remote individual tutorial support when requested
  • Updating and refining existing learner material, resources and assignments

We are looking for candidates that have experience teaching/assessing in further/higher education institutes across a wide variety of engineering modules.
This is a unique opportunity to work flexibly from home with an ambitious and rapidly expanding distance learning company.

SKILLS

Please note that you MUST be highly digitally literate - we are an online distance learning company and it is expected that you will be be confident and fluent in the application of digital skills and hence be capable of working remotely in a remote working environment with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £500.00-£1,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 7 – 21 per week
