We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer to collaborate with our Tech team as a remote freelancer. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital tools that support our research and consulting activities.

In the context of this job position, we are working together with end-users – aircraft and ship designers, manufacturers and operators – to explore the opportunities offered by data analysis and modelling, by trying out different approaches and running data-driven exercises to assess the benefits, for the efficiency and safety of operations.
Our current projects concern the analysis of operations via risk models and safety analyses, for air traffic control, in-flight loss of control of aircraft, collisions and grounding of ships.Deep Blue is the first Italian small-medium enterprise for EU research projects. We do research, consultancy and training for organisations like EUROCONTROL, IATA, and the European Space Agency. We also support the design of User-Centred solutions in manufacturing and energy industries.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with our internal team of skilled developers and UX/UI designers to build and enhance our web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new software products and implementing technical specifications provided by the team.
• Writing clean, high-quality code for both backend and frontend applications.
• Maintaining and optimizing cloud-based infrastructures.
• Contributing to technical documentation and best practices.
