Description

ARE YOU A GP OR DOCTOR WITH EXPERIENCE IN TRAUMA REHABILITATION, COMPLEX INJURIES, OR ORTHOPAEDICS?

Do you want to join an innovative, supportive organisation that values autonomy, protects your work-life balance, and offers full remote working?
Would you like to add an interesting, specialist role to your existing clinical portfolio - working entirely from home, in a supportive multidisciplinary team, for around 8 hours each week?
We are seeking a Clinical Lead GP/Doctor to provide expert guidance and support to our nationwide team of rehabilitation case managers, drawn from a range of regulated disciplines. You will be a senior medical voice within our multidisciplinary team (MDT), working closely with fellow Clinical Leads to ensure collaborative and supportive clinical governance.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert input and guidance on complex rehabilitation cases.
  • Direct rehabilitation strategies in line with each patient’s biopsychosocial assessment.
  • Lead on clinical governance, consulting closely with case managers and other Clinical Leads.
  • Support case managers in clinical decision-making for complex patients.
  • Ensure every case delivers the most clinically robust, cost-effective rehabilitation programme.
  • Support patients to achieve maximum functional and psychological recovery in the shortest possible timeframe.
  • Serve as a senior medical point of reference within the MDT, fostering collaboration across disciplines.

WHY THIS ROLE FITS A PORTFOLIO CAREER

  • Flexible part-time hours - typically 8 hours/week, which can be scheduled around existing commitments.
  • Fully remote work - no travel, clinics, or patient lists.
  • Professional interest - complex, varied cases in trauma rehab and complex injuries.
  • Collaborative support from experienced Clinical Leads in psychology and physiotherapy.
  • Minimal admin burden - focused, meaningful clinical contributions.
