Experienced Tekla Detailer Required. UK residents only. We may also consider a trainee in house detailer for the position.
Opportunity to earn £1000+ per week (paid monthly).
We are looking for a full time experienced or trainee steelwork detailer to join our successful steel fabrication company based in Pulham, Dorset. Remote / hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate.
We manufacture and construct various project types in different sectors of the industry such as Education, Residential, Retail, Commercial buildings, MOD, Airport, Sports and Leisure facilities as well as Car Parks and Multi-storey buildings.
The successful candidate will need to work alongside our team of structural detailers as well as our production and site teams. You will need to demonstrate a good level of communication and must be able to work well as part of a team.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Reviewing and analysing structural engineering drawings.
• Detailing from design team drawings to produce fabrication packages and issuing them to production.
• Production of General Arrangement drawings and liaising with the project design team throughout the approval process.
• Liaise with engineers and external architectural practices to ensure designs are correct.
• Ensure that all models and drawings are delivered on time to meet the fabrication programme dates.
• To produce and edit fabrication drawings, bolt lists and erection marking plans.
• Attend design team meetings where required.

Knowledge and Experience (excluding trainees):

• Experience of the UK Steelwork Industry and general detailing practices.
• Proficient with the use of Tekla Structures.
• Implement the company’s standards and procedures.
• Must be self-driven and be able to work to set timescales.
• Must be able to interpret engineering calculations, drawings and sketches to convert into Tekla structures 3D software
