In this vital role, you will contribute to protecting clients’ rights by navigating complex immigration laws and representing individuals facing delays in their applications. You will handle federal litigation, focusing on Mandamus actions, and manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to strategize and advocate effectively will make a lasting impact on clients seeking justice and timely resolution of their immigration matters. \n Accountabilities Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions Handle federal court litigation, with a primary focus on Writs of Mandamus and Administrative Procedure Act (APA) lawsuits Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings in Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals Manage a high-volume caseload effectively Conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions Review immigration applications/packets and make necessary adjustments Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on immigration law changes Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony Provide legal analysis for clients to assess possible benefits Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases Requirements At least 3-5 years of Immigration Law Experience Team player open to collaboration and strategizing with associates Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required 2+ years of experience in immigration law, with at least 1 year handling Mandamus and APA litigation preferred Exceptional interpersonal skills Proven record of advancing legal cases and managing a caseload Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications Experience with Case Management Software is preferred Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Competitive compensation package including a 401(k) plan Catered lunches and complimentary parking Paid time off and other benefits Opportunities for career development and learning alongside professionals in the legal industry Commitment to an inclusive and diverse work environment \n Why Apply Through Jobgether?
