Responsibilities

HomeRiver Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Full-time In-House Paralegal with some litigation support experience to join our Legal team remotely. This role is perfect for a legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally, but also independence and autonomy over core tasks. You’ll play a key part in supporting litigation management, corporate governance, compliance, contract management, and general legal operations. This position is fully remote and will report to the General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create litigation files, work with insurance companies on open claims, facilitate litigation holds, track and report on litigation budgets and oversee litigation file management
  • Review, track and oversee the management of a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and tracking data related to the legal department.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel as needed
  • Assist with regulatory filings and compliance processes
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the company
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team
