Job Description: Are you located in Ontario, Canada? Do you have strong communication skills and a passion for sales? We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Inbound Warranty Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers who have purchased appliances. Your main responsibility will be to use your sales expertise to upsell extended warranties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Must have a minimum 6 months of experience in a sales role, as well as customer service experience.
  • Call Center Experience: Previous experience in a call center environment is preferred.
  • Technical Competence: Ability to navigate and use computer systems efficiently.
  • Residency: Must reside in Ontario, Canada

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a bring-your-own-device role. Applicants who use their PC for work must acknowledge that they owned their PC prior to applying for employment and they did not purchase the PC to become employed at SP Data Digital.

  • Operating System: Windows 11 (Apple devices and Chromebooks are not compatible).
  • Hardware: Minimum 8 GB RAM and Intel I3 processor.
  • Internet: Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 30 Mbps download / 8 Mbps upload.
  • Connectivity: Ability to work with an Ethernet cable connected to the modem.
  • Equipment: Webcam and USB headset required for communication and training.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer Incoming Calls: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding their appliance purchases.
  • Upsell Extended Warranties: Utilize effective sales techniques to promote and sell extended warranty plans, aiming to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently upselling extended warranties.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions customers may have.
  • Documentation: Accurately record customer interactions and sales in the system.
