Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr Java Developer to join a government consulting firm for a 100% remote opportunity supporting a federal agency. This Sr Java Developer will work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging skills in both front-end and back-end development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 8 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Java Developer/ with Java development.
• Active Secret Clearance (requirement)
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
