JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Data Assistant to join our team at Alligatorteks. As a Clerical Data Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our company’s data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and maintain data in our company database
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data
  • Create and update reports, charts, and graphs using Excel and other software programs
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data quality and data management processes
  • Organize and file physical and digital records, ensuring documents are easily accessible and up to date
  • Perform regular backups and archives of company data
  • Respond to data inquiries and requests from team members in a timely manner
  • Identify and suggest improvements to data management processes and procedures
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with databases and data management software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
