We are seeking detail-oriented and accessibility-focused PDF Remediation Specialists to join our team. This role involves transforming educational materials into fully accessible, fillable PDF documents for students, including those who are blind or visually impaired. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accessibility standards and experience creating tagged PDFs with correct reading order, alt text, and interactive form fields.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in PDF remediation and accessibility.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and other PDF editing tools.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies such as screen readers and braille displays.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508, PDF/UA).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with educational materials or in an academic setting.
  • Knowledge of document accessibility in other formats (e.g., Word, EPUB).
  • Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, ADS).
